Description
Our van is a 2004 VW Lt35. We call it our Waka (as in Volks-Waka, VW) which in Māori means canoe. It is our canoe to voyage across beautiful New Zealand. He is fully self-contained which means you can take advantage of our freedom camping areas, which are abundant.There is an oven, 3 burner cooktop, fridge, toilet and shower, hot and cold water, and a heater if you are plugged in. Solar panels run lights and the fridge so you rarely need to be plugged in. He drives really well (manual). The rear seats become a massive bed. While there is seating for 3 there is only room for 2 for sleeping.
Vehicle Rules:
No smoking inside please. Gravel roads are okay but he wouldn’t make it up NZs 4WD tracks.
