Description
The Truck:
– Can be driven in a normal car licence, although some experience with bigger vehicles is recommended
– 180W solar panels x3
– Decent size fridge/freezer
– Bed above cab so plenty of living/seating/cooking space in the rear. Standing height is approx 195cm.
– Great stereo system in the living space with Bluetooth connectivity
– Wooden tailgate deck which folds down when stationary
– Plenty of storage
– Projector which you can hook up to your laptop
– Will come with bedding, portable two burner stove with grill, cooking utensils, other bits and bobs
– No shower and no toilet, relatively easy to work these things out along your route out here.
The truck itself a 1984 Mazda T3500. It’s an old, heavy truck, so don’t expect speed going uphill, but it’s been very reliable, hasn’t missed a beat in the two + years I’ve owned it. The box on the back is much newer (built around 6 years ago).
It’s 2WD so not suitable for proper off roading but the clearance is pretty high so you won’t have trouble on the majority of roads/tracks here.
