About me

I am a single guy in my late 50’s. Very active and love exploring and living my best life. Passions are cycling, road and gravel adventures as well as paddling my racing ski and K1. Basketball is my other love having played all my life. I work for myself these days, semi-retired managing my investments, trading the markets, something I can do from anywhere in the world with Wi-Fi. As a cyclist, I would like to travel France during the TDF, as well as ride many of the famous cols. This is something I did in 2010 with my family. Home exchange is something I have done for 20 years including travel in Australia plus overseas in Europe and America, so I am very comfortable with these communities, including respect for each other’s property. Currently I am about to travel south in Australia exploring our world renown coastline riding my bikes and doing a few Home & pet minding jobs along the way. Looking forward to a potential Motorhome swap in France, Italy in the June – August months.

Vehicle Info

My Motorhome is a 2017 Jayco Conquest (Aussie build) RM 20.5 (Renault Master) 2.3ltr diesel. It is four berth with double above cabin is the permanent bed plus the rear lounge converts into a nice sized double bed. This is where I sleep as I am 6'2" and like room to stretch out. The van has all the necessities required, kitchen, toilet, shower, TV, microwave, fridge/freezer, aircon, solar panels. Shortly it will be upgraded with more solar panels and a dual lithium battery system to allow days off grid. Aircon requires 240v power. My Motorhome is a very neat and tidy unit and gets along beautifully being only 6.1m long. It has rear view camera and reverse camera to make parking simple and safe. 3.5-ton GVM so a lighter vehicle to most. It is 2WD so not for off road adventures, just main roads and good quality gravel roads. Also has a bike rack on the back to carry two bikes.
