My wife Sharon and I are both retired professionals (very active 70 and 72) who live by the sea in Cape Town South Africa. We swim daily in the cold ocean and I surf kayak. We use our van for 1 to 3 week trips up the coast of South Africa two or three times a year.
We have a daughter who has recently moved to Denmark and would now like to spend 3 to 4 weeks annually visiting her and travelling through Europe and the UK in a camper van – ideally in late Spring early Autumn, missing the peak holiday season. 2019 Renault Trafic camper van with Reimo pop-top and fold-down bed with stand-alone gazebo. Full 220v and 12v set-up with inverter and solar and charger. Fridge, microwave, inside cooker and sink, outside table and chairs with hook-up for outside cooker and hot shower. Portable toilet available. Very fuel efficient at under 8l/100 kms. On-off road tyres with flexible internal cupboards, to handle rough gravel roads for visiting some of South Africa's best campsites.
