Our vehicle is a black VolksWagen Transporter T5, with model year 2014. It has been serviced regularly and kept in good working order. Fuel consumption is 7,5 to 8,5 litres per 100 km (~ roughly 28 to 32 MPG), depending on terrain. driving style, and speed. It has the following:
– A single solar panel of 410W, which charges a service battery of 150Ah, which in turn feeds a relatively large (office-size, i.e. 90 litres) 220V fridge and 2 220V sockets through an inverter.
– An in-built cable for connecting external power + extension cable of 10 m.
– Fresh water tank with electric pump ~35 liters.

– Cooker with 2 burner hobs connected to a gas cylinder.
– Chemical portable toilet 10 liters.
– Seating arrangement with easily openable double bed and folding table.
– Satisfactory storage space for clothes and supplies.
