Motohome- Elddis Autoquest, 2005 Reg

Free

I live in South West England and love to travel. With a friend we have taken ‘Brexie’, the nickname for my motorhome, to France, Spain Andorra, Eire and Scotland. It’s not young but very reliable and has never let me down. It’s pretty well used in the summer months as I go to lots of Blues festivals in the UK. I have joined swap my van because I am planning on retiring at Xmas 2026 from my job working with families in a primary school- which I love. I am looking to spend up to 6 months in New Zealand early 2027, and love the idea of a van exchange since it gives more freedom to explore and stay in the less touristy places.

Description

Brexie is completely self-contained so can be used for `wild camping` in the UK, something I have done many times, but mainly in Europe as it’s easier. It can sleep 4 as there is a bed above the cab- but mainly for little children. It`s a caravan style with the sofa becoming a large double bed at the back meaning you can leave it made up and still access the kitchen/WC area. There is a working shower in the WC. It has a full size gas cooker, the fridge is smaller but adequate. There is plenty of storage and a wardrobe. It has a gas heater and I carry an electric fan heater when I use electric hook-up. Water is heated either by Electricity or gas. It is a diesel van.
